Zeus Jones is looking for a full time, Minneapolis/St Paul-based AP Specialist with 3+ years experience.

Ideally, you will have at least 3+ years of full-time accounting experience in addition to a minimum two-year degree in accounting. You will also need exposure to QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Mac software so you can jump right in.

The day-to-day job (as best we can define it):
  • Processing and recording the corporate credit cards, including obtaining all necessary back-up information
  • Reviewing vendor invoices, including obtaining necessary approvals and processing for payment; year-end 1099 reporting
  • Assuring all expenditures are in accordance with company and client policies
  • Internal budget tracking
  • Client expense review
  • Maintaining orderly physical and electronic accounting filing systems
  • Performance of other duties as required, including general support for the accounting department
  • Adhoc projects; electronic file organization, converting payables process to digital format
  • Point person for our expense reimbursement process
  • Process semi-monthly payroll
  • Onboarding of new employees for payroll and expense system

Essential experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years working in accounting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong financial management skills

Salary range is $50,000-$80,000 depending on experience.
